Are there any pic icons for The Quest for Glory series? The QfG1 VGA game I just got does not have an icon to use for my desktop shortcut on the disc. Can you suggest a place to go to get shortcut icons? Are there any on the Sierra/VU website? Advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Cat's Eye

Are you sure there aren't any icons? I always thought there were... I must have a look when I get home. Maybe someone here can post the icons?

I've uploaded all the QfG icons onto this page.

Enjoy.

>_< I created some excellent icons based on those ones years back. Had them up to 32 bit colour (up to meaning everything from 16 colour to 32 bit colour in the single icon file) and from 16x16px to 48x48px. I must have deleted them though >_< *is annoyed*

looks like my "my computer" icon is getting changed...
Gaily bedight, a gallant knight in sunshine and in shadow,
Had journeyed long, singing a song, in search of El Dorado.
But he grew old, this knight so bold, and o'er his heart a shadow,
Fell as he found no spot of ground that looked like El Dorado.
And as his strength failed him at length, he met a pilgrim shadow.
'Shadow,' said he,' Where can it be, this land of El Dorado?'
'Over the mountains of the Moon, down the Valley of the Shadow.
Ride, boldly ride,' the shade replied,' if you seek for El Dorado.'

Thanks ever so much, now I can make a decent shorcut to my sidebar. Everyone have a great holiday.
Thanks again for the icons,

Almirena I don't mean to critize, but you should put up the Alternate Icon files also(I'm assuming you have a copy of QFG anthology) I like some of them alot and Used the Alternate QFG 1 as the Icon for my Overall Quest For Glory file.
Thus Spake Zarathustra!

I'm not sure they'd be needed, but if they're wanted, sure...

I downloaded a bunch of QFG icons many years ago, but I never actually found any use for them. confused.gif

Till next time stay cool cool.gif

"A gun is a tool, Marian. No better, no worse than any other tool. An axe, a shovel, or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that." Shane, played by Alan Ladd, in the movie Shane (1953).

"Blaming a gun for an action of a criminal is like blaming a car for some accident made by an idiotic driver." Paladinlover.

What a good idea... I haven't listened to the QfG music for a while.
...bruiseless breath / Frosts the sweet solemnity of star-embracing night,
Purpled, music loud as silence; Is this dreaming death?

Sounds Sublime... Because Music Ought to be a Banquet for the Senses...
