By the way, I'll be updating this master post with links from your responses, links from the Kickstarter, and any other link I come across. The newest links will be added to the top of each section. Thanks again!

There's also a thread on the RadioRivendell forums about the game:
http://www.radiorive...m/forum/8/3753/

And I may go poke at some other forums tonight and tomorrow, see if I can't stir up even more attention for them.

Found a suitable-looking forum that had people gushing about Quest for Glory a while back, now it has recent posts about Elite kickstarter but nothing on Hero U that I could find:
http://www.enworld.o...k-media-lounge/

And this is another forum that has active thread on Quest for Glory 1
http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/11/

I don't have time to start a thread right now, nor likely tomorrow (due to work constraints) -- maybe somebody else can get it going?

Also, here is another existing thread for your list that I ran across (only still called "School for Heroes")

This is exactly what we've needed. My own promotional efforts have been focused on friends, family, and venues and forums I know, since social networking and the online press are outside my field of understanding. I would count myself reasonably successful in that regard, but there's only so much one person can do through personal contact.

So, backs against the wall. We can still do this. This is my original, my most pure fandom. I've yet to back a losing kickstarter, and this one, of all of them, will not be the first.

The ENWorld Forum asks its posters to try and keep Kickstarters out of the forum. Instead, in the upper right section of their page, they post a link to a RPG Kickstarter blog. I've already spoken to rpgkickstarters.tumblr.com and they've posted something about Hero-U.
I'm not sure how these other threads are still alive on ENWorld, but then again, I've been able to maintain a post on the Wizards of the Coast forum for almost a month now. It could just be flying under the radar.

Huh, I can see the kickstarter link, but didn't see any instructions about keeping them out of their off-topic area -- no sticky post with additional guidelines either

"Miscellaneous Geek Talk & Media Lounge Movies, books, television, video games, software, art, music, and more! If it's not tabletop gaming, it belongs in here. Also personal stuff, general chit-chat, home decorating tips, recipes, auto-maintenance - and anything else you can think of."

Guess it should be "anything else you can think of besides rpg kickstarters" wink.gif

So for future reference in forum hunting, how did you know?

I presumed, but after double checking I found this:

http://www.enworld.o...g-kickstarters/

Mega-sweet! Not sure how I missed this on the first pass; however, there was a good seven days of reeling after a clash with some moderators over at community.wizards.com regarding Kickstarter posts. I suppose I was being overly sensitive to forum set ups at the time. rolleyes.gif

Oasis789, do you have a scripted post for the ENWorld forum or would you like me to post one?

I have no history on that forum, someone who does should post it. Feel free to use my BB code.

Would really appreciate help posting on the threads listed to bump them up where needed. Some forums won't let me post twice in a row.

I did a brave thing, guys.

I posted a thread on the Blizzard battle.net forums.

http://us.battle.net...opic/7004458629

The thing is.... somehow, a lot of WoW players seem to have disposable income. So if this catches their attention in a good way, it could be a big help!

Bravo, dude! Also, torchino, I posted on Planetary Annihilation's forums (the studio responsible for Super Monday Night Combat, Uber Entertainment Studio). You can add the URL to the list:

Well done. Feel free to use my BB code to add more info, pictures etc.

If anyone is active in SWTOR forums, that could be another opportunity since the Coles have mentioned it repeatedly and there's the testimonial from a SWTOR writer.

Just bumped the new battlenet post and an old one, plus snuck in a mention in "what games are there to look forward to"

Between the fireside chats, work, D&D, and catching up on the Kickstarter comments, I had to get some sleep! Sorry for the 24 hour delay between updates to the Luxurious List of Links™!!!
