Beyond the flight of time,
Beyond the realm of death,
There surely is some blessed clime,
Where life is not a breath!

Oh! Do tell about the jokes and funny things I may have missed

Beyond the realm of death,
There surely is some blessed clime,

Until then, I'm content with newer games...when I have time to play, that is. I rarely do nowadays anyway.

I'm stuck with Diablo II at the end, can't seem to be able to kill him. Have never used 'cheats' and won't now after almost 25 years of 'gaming' and at my age.

Other new games are AOE III, Rise of Nations, Civilization IV (nothing like Civ I).
Keep on switching from one to the other

Beyond the realm of death,
There surely is some blessed clime,
Where life is not a breath!

Had journeyed long, singing a song, in search of El Dorado.
But he grew old, this knight so bold, and o'er his heart a shadow,
Fell as he found no spot of ground that looked like El Dorado.
And as his strength failed him at length, he met a pilgrim shadow.
'Shadow,' said he,' Where can it be, this land of El Dorado?'
'Over the mountains of the Moon, down the Valley of the Shadow.
Ride, boldly ride,' the shade replied,' if you seek for El Dorado.'

One thing that irked me (besides Yorick's constant muscle spasms which prevented me from entering that last door...) was the hero would ALWAYS walk in the fairy circle. Why can't he go AROUND instead of through? EGA - no problemo!
Oh. And I liked the hero's hair in VGA. In EGA, he needed a haircut.

On the VGA version it is much easier to make money (get and sell an unlimted amount of mushrooms!).
My name is Keapon Laffin and I am a Bard.

What kind of Hero Are You?

Both of them are so much fun that it should be illegal...
Purpled, music loud as silence; Is this dreaming death?

Sounds Sublime... Because Music Ought to be a Banquet for the Senses...

1) It was the first QfG I ever played (sentimentality!);
2) The graphics do not become hideous when you walk into Heinrich's screen or when you bring up the stats screen;
3) You're not restricted by the cursor interface and can try to get the hero to do anything. *grin*
I do like the VGA version as well - it looks better on the whole. I just prefer the EGA version.

There are many types of magic, but all require a sharp mind and a cool head. There is no puzzle I can't solve, no problem I can't think my way out of. When you feel confused or uncertain, you can always rely on me to untangle the knots and put everything back in order for you.
