Use the parser. You can type commands like dodge, attack and block and I believe you can even specify the altitude. (not 100% certain) I also believe that by simply typing dodge or something, the game will pick a direction for you at random. Don't expect an adrenaline rush, though.
P.s: This will probably get you labelled as a geek. Not by me of course. We need more parser-controlled action games. Who needs a jump button if you can type "jump" or "run one step forward"?

up - quick stab
pg up - low swing
left - high parry
numpad 5 - mid parry
right - low parry
end - dodge left
down - dodge back
pg dn - dodge right
no, you can't reset them.
Thanks for the info, dude. Since I don't have a numpad either, I'll stick with the dodging when I do QG2. I'm doing Let's Plays on YouTube.
