I have to say the SoD trio...although I am a sucker for puns, their dry humor was something different for the series, and very effective, especially in the voice version. smile.gif But I remember cracking up back in the day when I just had the regular version as well.

DEFINITELY the SoD trio. SoD with voices was the first game I played where I could actually use my soundcard... up until then, all I had was the PC speaker... so the SoD trio just totally cracked me up. They still do. wink.gif

It was a tough choice, but in the end Hans, Franz and Ivan won over Punny Bones. Punny might be fun, but the "Shadows of Darkness" trio cracks me up each time I talk to them.
"Well, Mordavia is filled with people, you know, stinky ones."
"Mathematics, rightly viewed, possesses not only truth, but supreme beauty -- a beauty cold and austere, like that of sculpture, without appeal to any part of our weaker nature, without the gorgeous trappings of painting or music, yet sublimely pure, and capable of a stern perfection such as only the greatest art can show. The true spirit of delight, the exaltation, the sense of being more than Man, which is the touchstone of the highest excellence, is to be found in mathematics as surely as poetry."

I was sort of considering Kalb, but something about that guy gives me the creeps, like he is up to something unsavory and I am not talking about the meat. No, I'd rather go with the three Mordavian stooges...

Sorry, no description or picture since my HtbH account still thinks I'm a wizard, but I'm actually in the paladin wing of the forums. Oh well, that's life. :)

I voted for Punny. I loved his puns and I loved his insults. The trio is a close second in my book though. smile.gif

They are all quite funny, but the Mordavian Trio never fails to make me smile. Actually Bonehead would have been my second choice had he been offered... smile.gif

I would've voted for Bonehead, too.

Streets littered with diamonds
Everyone's glistening
This whole world shines so brightly
I can't see a thing

Pretty as a picture
She is like a golden dream
Fills me with love and laughter
And I-I I can't feel a thing

I'm not so sure, Bonehead had a few good ones, "Return of the redhot lovers eh." And other hints about something going on between the Hero and Baba Yaga. Hmm I think I now know why V likes him. wink.gif

I voted for Kalb. Not sure why. But I used to go visit him every day to see if he would say something new. His whole piddling-himself attitude and his long rambling monologues about his family etc. just made me giggle to no end.

Though I understand there is some uproar in certain Canine circles... okay in one Canine circle... okay, by one Canine... about the depictions of the species in our Earth media as drooling, malodorous, subservient man-slaves. This particular Canine was so outraged by the depiction of Kalb in QFG3 that I still haven't gotten all the foam out of my carpet.

Ah well.
