I am playing through Quest for Glory II for the first time. I was never able to handle the Phaser text box. The remake has allowed me play this title without having to deal with my bad spelling or not wording my requests the way the game wants.

I have always multi classed my hero because I have always enjoyed flexibility. When the Earth elemental showed up and ambushed me in the streets I stuck it with my normal sword and nothing happened so I ran away and blasted it with my flame blot spell. Now Uhura is threatening me to give back Rakeesh's sword or else. I don't have Rakessh's sword. Is my game hosed because I used a spell to defeat the earth elemental instead of a sword?
