Also, this may sound cliche, but every dollar counts! The lowest you can donate is $1, so even if that's all you can get together, it still shows support!
And don't forget, the money isn't taken out of your account until the KickStarter ends, and you can always change your pledge before the deadline as well.
So, we're just ending the 2nd full day of the KickStarter and they've already got $91,000 pledged! Awesome! Almost a quarter of the way there!

We may be looking at a problem, though. If there isn't a major jump in daily donations, well. . . It's not going to make it. For all the press we've been rocking, pledges have dropped straight off.
This projection factors the first day's rush into the average. To reach the goal, we need to average more than ten thousand dollars a day for the rest of the drive. Yesterday, we got less than $3000. We can hope for a surge in the final week when the fence-sitters get involved, but we need to drag, cajole, blackmail, or bribe with non-fluidic assets everybody we can into this. I've so far convinced at least six people I know who've never even seen a QfG game to put down cash, but I know I can do better. All of us can. A lot of us probably have family members who played the games with us years ago, but who we haven't yet told about Hero-U. A lot of us must have friends who love RPGs, or even choice-driven action games like Mass Effect.
We can all do more to spread this thing. We have to, for Lori.

Honestly, I think it's way too early to make conclusions for the final result of the Kickstarter from now

And none have made me as worried looking at the numbers. I mean, here are the track records for Spaceventure and Pinkerton Road.
We're honestly doing pretty poorly compared to both of them, and the Spaceventure campaign struggled pretty hard for a while. We can't just hope for 200,000 in the last couple days. I'm saying, we can all do more to do our part to get anybody and everybody in on this. Fan advertising and twisting arms was what really carried the Spaceventure campaign through.
I'm not saying the campaign is failing. I'm saying we're going to have to be heroes and go beyond the call. Post flyers. Call in favors. Make bets and up our own pledges. There are a lot of people who would back this and don't know it exists.

I do hope you guys are right though -- not just because of this Kickstarter but there's another one I had donated to a bit ago (a documentery film about tolerance, bullying, etc that a friend of mine is producing) and it has a wayyyyys to go and like... seven days to get there!
Anyways, for some reason the company I work for sent me a check in the mail the other day so I'll be using that to donate... since I wasn't expecting it I don't even have to work out my budget. And then if it turns out it was a mistake, too bad for them. They shouldn't be throwing money around at me.
