That's awesome! I'm glad they finally released it.

Only thing left is to release that CD with the audi tracks from QfG5 that came with the QfG Anthology. I feel lucky to still have mine, since those songs are so difficult to find by themselves (although, sadly, the CD was scratched, and some of the later tracks are no longer working).

HELLLLLLLLL YYAAAAAA!!!! biggrin.gif

I still have all the originals on functioning CDs, but hey, it's awesome to know that they're available once again. I remember all those years ago we discussed why should Sierra print out more copies of their game, but the costs of doing it would set them back too much... then I mentioned a similar approach to Apogee, which had all their classics available for download for a fee back in the early 2000's. It's amazing to think that they're the one's who started it. It's such a simple concept that I often wonder why more companies didn't do it much sooner?

Till next time stay cool cool.gif

Did a happy dance when it was announced. My Anthology and QfG5 discs are just fine, but I'm glad to finally have a legit digital back-up.

I think the shock of seeing Druss made her head asplode. (Yes, asplode. Say it out loud, it's fun. Ah-Splode!)

You never cease to amaze me, Collector. Many thanks!

Just out of curiosity, why is it that in the past, Sierra had shut down sites offering downloads of their games, yet let this great music be free for download? imo, the music is one of the things that makes QG5 so great. Especially that Dryads' dance song. I'm ashamed to admit it brought a tear to my eye the first time I heard it, many, MANY years ago.

Yeah, QFG5 has a great soundtrack! I still do like the older ones too.

I took great pains to get the games beforehand. I actually started with 3 and managed to get 1 from a friend. It wasn't until 2 was redone that I was able to import my character properly. XP

I may just get the collection anyways since I don't know when those old floppies (and the drive) will give out.
Evil wizards? Dark Knights? Banana pudding? I'll take them all on!

I really can't wait for them to get the Laura Bow games on GoG. It's been ten years since I had a working copy of the Dagger of Amon Ra, and I think I need to take another stab at it.
