Erasmus: There are more Easter eggs here than you can count on two hands, so I'll do what I can to gather them.
The airplane is from Lytton police department (I think).
The suit of armor is the same armor from Laura Bow 1: The Colonel's Bequest.
The coffin in the EGA version has Rosetta on it. Also that coffin is the same on that you find in the Crypt in King's Quest 4.
In the VGA version, it mentions that's there a bow tied on it... in the Laura Bow style!
At the bottom of the mountain, there's the 'Great Wall of Spielburg' which a spoof of the great wall of China, he also makes comments about his travel agent!
And more, but's all I can remember for now.
The Gargoyle: Heck yeah! There's a lot, and they're the BEST in the game. Most of them are found in the VGA version.
The meaning of Life, the Universe and Everything, which in the game is 42, is taken from The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy... Also when you say '42', the Gargoyle says "So you put some Deep Thought into it eh!", in the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Deep Thought was the computer that figured out the answer 42!
When you say that your quest is to find the Holy Grail, the gargoyle will say "Sorry, but that Jones guy already found it" It is a reference to Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, in the movie, Indy goes looking for the Grail.
When you say your quest is to be a pirate, the gargoyle will say "then your in the wrong game then" this is a reference to the Monkey Island series. If you know it, you'll know what I'm talking about.
When your asked "what is the mean air speed of the unladen swallow", it's a question taken directly from Monty Python and the Holy Grail... in fact, Monty Python jokes are without a doubt the biggest part of the easter eggs in all the Sierra game series, darn, they must have been popular with everybody at Sierra!
When you tell them you see the wizard of Oz, the gargoyle will answer "I don't think we're in Kansas anymore", I don't have to explain what this is refering to do I?
Another Wizard of Oz reference, if you tell them your name is Oz, he'll answer "And who do you think I am? Dorothy?"
When you tell them your name is Graham Cracker, the gargoyle will answer "right and I'm princess Rubella". I should tell you people that King Graham got his name because Roberta Williams had a taste for Graham crackers!
When he asks you what's the thieves password, if you answer "swordfish" he says "and 'X' Marx the spot" for some odd reason, I think this is a refence to Christy Marx, but I could be mistaken.
That's all for now, more to come!

BTW, I don't even know why Pandora's box is in the game anyway. You see, according to Greek Mythology, when Pandora opened the box, all the evils of the world were released, and that's why there is so much suffering... of course, the only 'good' thing in Pandora's box was the good spirit of 'hope', that gave a fighting chance.
So if Pandora's box is unopened, like in the game, there should be no evil!

My Inner Hero - Paladin
Sorry, no description or picture since my HtbH account still thinks I'm a wizard, but I'm actually in the paladin wing of the forums. Oh well, that's life.
