I finished QFG1, and can't seem to figure out how to save my character for export. Is it something with the savegames, or is there something I have to do? I'm stuck at the screen with all the people on it at the end (in the castle, with the animations of creators and writers and stuff)
Am I doing something wrong? What is the normal way for this to happen? Thanks!!!

You have to watch the end sequence, then the credits, then you'll be able to save the character.
Ah, but this is the remake... If the end sequence isn't happening, then you might need to slow the game down... Try getting the speed patch from here ( http://geocities.com/belzorash/ ) if you haven't already. I don't know if that fixes the ceremony though... You could try putting the speed down a little and the detail all the way down. That might fix it too... Or you can wait until someone more helpful comes to tell you what to do

Stop moving the cursor around. Leave it alone for a bit and it will move on.

That's what stops it from continuing? That's pretty smart. Let's you look at everything you want.
Of course, also annoying since you sit there for hours waiting for it to do something
