Hi! I'm brand new to the site, and am very impressed!! I imagine that I speak for everyone when I say that replaying the old Sierra classics reinvigorates not only the fond memories of playing the games for the first time but also the emotions that went with it--the innocence of youth and the sense of discovery and awe that only Sierra's Quest games could provide. The pure, unbridled joy when a tricky puzzle was solved--oh, those were good times! smile.gif

Anyway, fast forward ten years, now armed with my blazing new P4 3GHZ, I was so overjoyed to stumble upon DosBox, as no doubt, were all of you! At last, a miraculous solution to those sound problems and crashes. biggrin.gif So, finally, here's my question (sorry for being so long-winded): did anyone actually figure out a way to get dosbox to run in actual FULL-screen mode, and I don't just mean just the "widescreen" like quasi-full screen that comes when you adjust the fullscreen setting in the dosbox.conf file? I saw a previous thread on this, and I've looked around the Dosbox forums, so maybe I missed it the answer, but I tried adjusting the resolution on the fullwidth/fullheight line to 640x480 and 800x600 but no success.. It's just a minor annoyance, but it's so close to being perfect... Did anyone solve this?
Orion
I believe a simple "Alt+Enter" will solve your conundrum smile.gif

Nope, Alt-Enter only gives me the widescreen view, better than the small window obviously, but not quite full screen. Is this only my computer or does it ring a bell for anyone else?
Maiandra
No, it's not just you. I've noticed that too when using DOSBox. It has the band of black at the top and bottom.
