Recently I dug my old Quest for Glory games out of the closet, these are some of my favorate games of all time, anyway, it turns out that i've gone and lost disk #1 for both QFG 3 & 4, (I have all the other original disks from sooo long ago w/ serial numbers and all). I was very dissapointed when I could not find them after turning my closet upsidedown. so here is my request, if anyone is willing, I'd really appreciate it if someone could sent me the files from those disks. if you aren't I understand, but I was really looking forward to playing these games again, and I don't know where else to get some help for this problem. thank you.

I'm sure that sending just one disk out of eight or nine (or more) can't be considered illegal, since it's not technically distributing the
*whole* game...
I'm sure somebody here can help you

Have fun playing.
I underwent a similar dilemna when I could not find the street map for Trial by Fire. Thankfully, I've found it again and thanks to the marvels of modern technology I've digitally scanned it... and donated it to the Quest for more Glory site in the Maps section. Now I will NEVER lose it again!

With the old 3.5 disk games it would be best if you made copies of those for your self. Or even copy them all onto one cd if you can.

Even your hard drive can hold them. I just did that with Hero's Quest and Trial by Fire, put everything into one big folder and installed it all from there, without having to change discs or nothing.

I'm still in the old school era of having a small HD so I put everything on Disk or CD. Plus this old comp as lost me items in the past so I only trust my Maxtor HD so much.

What? Nowadays having a 5 gigger is positively prehistoric. And tiny. Definitely not the thing to be admitting to the ladies. Ranks up there with other small things you never admit to women. *big cheesy grin*

Are those extra socks, Mr Computer, or are you just happy to see a user? <wicked grin>

I have a 12.6 gig thankyouverymuch.

I'd get a 20 gig, but this old computer doesn't rank it for the amount of $. I had a 486 with a 250 meg HD before this computer.
