The Four Boardsmen of the Apocalypse
The Story of Four ‘Brothers’
The “Quest for Glory Community” version of “Highlander: The Series” characters
Long before message boards. Before the invention of the office water cooler. Further still beyond the first inns and taverns. Ancient Egypt, Rome, Mesopotamia – before all these places, before major cities of history were even thought of - back to a time when the world was young.. There have been four individuals wrecking havoc on all those around them. Four men feared by all. Four men forever bound by the bonds of ‘brotherhood’. Four men forever known as the “Four Boardsmen of the Apocalypse”!
Among these men was a deceptively handsome man of roguish posture, Brother Klausse was their leader. His tan hair, great fashion sense, explosive swordsmanship and fondness for bears oozed craftiness – but all that pales in comparison whenever words were uttered from his mouth -for he is a man of outstanding wit and deception. Feared by mortal and immortal man alike – none survived when they dared face “Bruder K” in a ‘battle of tongues’.
Aging his fellow brothers by at least a good thousand years, though still physically young in looks, is Brother Spearflight. Feared as much as his leader only more so for his intelligence and cunning. This fiery individual has a slight love for linen – as his trusty chariot is a GE Profile Harmony 4.0 Cu. Ft. Capacity king-size washer with stainless steel basket. Known amongst themselves as “Bruder Spear”, the Boardsmen would not be if it was not for their strategist, and second in command.
Surpassing his Brothers in physical size, Brother Orion is a behemoth of a man with fair skin and piercing green eyes. Infamous for his charm and the fact that his favourite weapon happens to be a fish, the man known to his brothers as “Bruder Onion” is a quick witted fellow with a falsely boyish disposition. He keeps the peace between his fellow Brothers, and would give his head to protect any of them.
The most mysterious of the Boardsmen is one known only as “Arcc”. Whether this is his real name, only 3 know (himself, his sister, and his doctor) – and they’re either not talking or no longer capable of doing so. You see, this rugged looking man has gone by so many names, even sometimes HE forgets what his current name is. “Bruder Impulse”, is by far, the most insane of the Boardsmen. He will fight like a madman in odds so impossible they frequently threaten to create a black hole, the Boardsmen's adopted battlecry "WEEba!" echoing from his lungs. He makes a point never to shed innocent blood on his Katana, however, for he has been cursed to do penance by God until the end of the age. He hunts and punishes the wicked without remorse.

Throughout the millennia, they have caused insanity wherever they have gone, and countless many have succumbed to their power. (how else would you explain the 60’s, not that they remember it, mind you) Currently, they are jumping from domain to domain spreading more seeds of insanity amongst those around them. Stay tuned for updates and retellings of their infamous journeys and adventures, as told by them.
