Okay, everybody knows nowadays we all have speedy computers compared to back in the day when 286's - 486's ruled. Some our classic games won't run anymore!!
Enough of the information overload - We all have the latest Windows installments. We all have 1GB motherboards and Pentium 50's. crazyeye2.gif Let's get some posts on optimal systems. What will make our old games run perfectly???
The perfect solution...what is it???

DOSBox works really great for me. No problem on my 1.2Ghz Athlon. There are some minor issues with importing characters, but I can do that without DOSBox.

Also, there's a guy who's been writing specific patches for QfG, that fixes the timer issues in 3 & 4. I think there's a link to his patches somewhere on the official VU forums.

I dunno I'm on a 3.0 ghz comp and have no problem w/ most of them outside of the usual errors which like Spear said are easily fixed.

I prefer DOSBox for 1-3 and then NewRisingSun's patches for 4 (because if I use his patches for 3, I'll still get the stupid audio errors)
