We have a calendar - see? Look up to the left of the monitor.
We can't celebrate events we don't know about... so please enter those important dates in. That way, parties will happen. <smile>

I didn't know you had more than one b-day Bob!!
I am proud to say that I figured this out on my own. Yay! No b-day guardians for this forum.

Of course, if you WANT us to be your birthday guardians... you have only to ask. And to pay the birthday-guardian fee. And that's a mere bagatelle... just... a thousand drachma.

*looks in coin purse*Hey Spear! I've got enough for two! You want a guardian for your B-day too?

Er, Bob... you don't buy us... you pay for our birthday guardian services. Otherwise... <grin> It sounds as if we're your PRESENT!

Added birthday to profile, noticed the calendar option, and clicked on it. Called up February 2004 and was mildly surprised and amused that it calculates and announces the impending age... ::insert old lady emoticon here::

Scary thing is that I am old enough to be your mother, Spear.

That is if I was a different sort of person.
Anyway, back to birthdays....

We've got enough fifteen-year-old mothers at my school

My views on age:
It doesn't exist.
It is a mere quantum fluctuation.
Get rid of the concept.
And enjoy life, even when we get to the point of a single white strand of hair left on our heads.

Think that's bad Bob? My old school had 12-13 year old mothers.
Sage words those, Al.

Not to encourage teenage procreation at all...but I think there's more to a person than what age they ended up getting pregnant at. Everyone makes poor choices...it's how we learn from and respond to them that makes us who we are.

I never liked birthday-reminder thingys. First of all, I feel selfish asking for people to remember and celebrate my birthday, and second, I like to actually have people remember it.
Random rant. I'm going now.

Briavel, my big sister is older than you.

Heroman is older than you. So enjoy life while you're young enough to still do so and don't think about getting older. Because you are only as old as you feel.

I agree with you PW. Some days I feel older than others, and I don't mind being among the upper tier in age on the forum. I am also aware that there are many board people older than I as well. And some who shock me at how young they are when I would have guessed them to be older.
I do have a sense of humor and occasionally poke fun at myself. After all, if you can't laugh at yourself from time to time, then you really
have gotten old.

:sneaks a peek at Briavel's userinfo:
Meh, is that all? Bah
Besides, it doesn't matter past 21, so once your past that age just claim it as years of experience

, as in - "I'm 21 with 7 years experience". Therefore you're a better 21 year old than someone with (say) only one years experience

Funny you should say that, Hoopy... Yes, you under-21ers do bear a distinct resemblance to cat food (aka chopped liver), and thus I request all of you to remain very calm while my cat Crouton licks you for a taste test. <grin>
