Ok if you had the choose of adding one of these options to Internet Explorer which one would you choose? Or select other and create your own. thumbs.gif

I choose tabs with search engine options following in a close second. I don't need to explain why tabs are better. As for search engines, we should be able to set IE's search engine. Not be forced to use MSN search if we hit the search button. I would have gone new_Eyecrazy.gif if I had to go to the google home page everytime I wanted to search for something. Praise the Lord for the google toolbar. I'm glade AOL uses Google. I actually prefer AOL's version of Google because it has a button after each link to open that link in a new window, in AOL's browser.

As for Pop-ups & Security:
I have McAffe Internet Security 6.0. This collection of McAffe programs offers a pop-up blocker, a banner/ad blocker, and it stops web bugs. It blockes Spyware, Adware, and Active X controls. It also encrypts sensitive files. And this all intergrates into IE. thumbs.gif

I also chose tabs, because I hate having to alt+tab through my 700 browser windows that I keep open on average. I know Firebird has this option, but I don't use it much because I never could get the plug-ins to work, and I didn't really experience any of the faster loading time as compared to IE - it seemed about the same to me. I have the google toolbar, but if I didn't, pop-up blocker would have been my second choice.

If I had said other, it would have been the capability to print out money! tongue.gif

I said other...

The ability to take over the world biggrin.gif

I'd go with the pop-up blocker.

I would also vote for pop-up blocker.

Actually, now Microsoft is FINALLY giving IE an integrated pop/ad blocker and possibly tabs also I heard. The point is that IE is so far behind it's phenomenal. Just get plugin toolbars, or Mozilla, Firebird, or Opera. That way, you get the functionality you want aeons before Microsoft even thinks of it. wink.gif

Firefox is pretty cool. I'm really looking forward to 1.0!

I didn't even vote... although if IE had tabs I might not have switched in the first place.

As for popup blocking - get proxomitron! Then set it up and just load it before you load ie or you can't go anywhere.
