Hi all smile.gif

You probably noticed that the forums have been down for sometime... wink.gif

It's because I was messing around with the MySQL database while working on some updates for the main site lol.gif lol.gif

Things are back to normal now though and there's nothing to worry about thumbs.gif

Sorry for the inconvenience, there will be a couple of updates to the site soon biggrin.gif

I wondered why it was down, but ti wasn't gone for long anyway. So it isn't important smile.gif

Glad to see it back up, in any case, I seem to have less interest in going online, than playing with my new game, Freelancer. I've been waiting for a game like that for more than four years now, and it's finally out, it is 95% of what I wanted it to be smile.gif

Although I have to admit, the plot is too much like the original 1993 Privateer game. And to top it all, the introduction astonished me!

Do you know why? Simple, because for more than a year, I've been longing to write non-Fanfiction stories, of the 'meaningless' verity, the kind that I intend to keep to myself and not show anyone. The reason it astonished me is this, I wanted to think up of a really zany setting, and I thought of this, two sides have been fighting for a very long time, so long in fact that they've forgotten exactly why they were fighting, for what, and what started it all.

I thought it was a lame and zany idea, but when I saw the intro to Freelancer, they used the SAME idea! I never thought anyone, especially Microsoft™ would actually use something like this.

Of course, that eventually passed and the game started, and it was really fun, I won't get bored of it any time soon smile.gif

Till next time stay cool cool.gif

I noticed it was down, but at the time, I thought it was a firewall/restriction on my Aunts computer...

But it's great to see the forum back! smile.gif
