I have recently acquired a copy of QFG3 (I own the original disks but have a laptop now without a floppy drive - so I can't install from the original disks and don't have it on a CD or anything) to replay some of my old characters, but cannot install the game. I have the individual disks as individual folders on my computer, and when I put them to the same directory, I'm missing the expansion of resource.001/002/003/004/005 to the file resource.000 and I'm not quite sure what to do. I'm using dosbox to play the games, so I'm sure that once I can figue out how to exapnd the resource files I'll be fine, but I've exhausted my search engines and message board searches and still can't seem to find out how to fix this. Can anyone please lend me a hand??

Oh, when I type "sierra" at the prompt the error message is "can't find resource.000!"

One thing you could try is taking a copy of the resource.000 file and putting it into your QFG3 directory. I'd be happy to send you a copy of the file. If you would like, send me a personal message with your e-mail address, and I'll send the file to you.
