Just a bit of constructive criticism from a rabid TbF fan.
I think that the map of the Shapierian Desert Needs to be a bit more complete. There are two or three unique landmarks that have not been given any recognition. The Dragon's Head rock on the way to the dervish's oasis is not found anywhere else in the desert and would also make navigating by the map easier. Rasier and the Forbidden City also should be marked on the map with notations on how to get there.
Street names would be useful on the Shapier map for reference. The EOF location would be good too.
It would also be nice if somebody could mirror the Shapier map and mark key locations in Rasier like Zayisha's dressing room. Klausse could probably do it in seconds.

Is it even possible to get to the Forbidden City by walking?

Thanks for your suggestions Bob!

To be honest I had no idea about the Dragon head part (or never noticed) and I've never tried going to Raseir or the Forbitten City before the caravan

But if you could be kind enough to point these in the map I can add them to the site
Agree?

Rasier is easy. Bring at least five waterskins, a lot of rations and plenty of pills, and high combat stats, then head as far south from Shapier as you can go. Then head either direction along the rock wall. Keep going with the animation speed on max for several days and nights, depending on the setting you have for game time scale. You WILL be attacked by everything the desert can muster so get ready to hit the "=" key when you hear your saurus dump you.
I'm still hunting for the forbidden city, but I'm positive I've seen it once before.

I can't find it. It's got to be somewhere near Rasier. . .

I really don't think you can get to the forbidden city on foot. Although it's somewhere in the desert, and yes, supposedly by Rasier. But I'm not sure if it's possible.
I've opened up QFG 2 with my beta version of SCI VGA, and I discovered that there is a day palatte for the area, but I don't think it can be reached though, I should do more investigating.
Till next time stay cool

I've heard that getting to rasier was possible before, but never the forbiden city. If you find out, please tell me.

Hello, everyone. My name's Jets Connor. I am The Dench.
I just made a successful attempt to reach Rasier. It took perhaps five minutes. Uh. At first I left Shapier on my Saurus, but I was attacked by a pack of Jackalmen and it ran off. When I returned to that screen after killing them, though, the saurus was not there. So I proceeded to Rasier on foot. (This was at nighttime on my last night "in shapier".)
It was much faster, running to Rasier, and for some reason, I wasn't attacked again. Lucky me.
I'm not sure why you said to continue for several days and nights, as the night was young when I left, and hadn't grown much older when I got to Rasier. Unfortunately, my lack of a visa meant I wasn't allowed to enter the city. (This was AFTER I was killed for entering Rasier at night time without a visa. I had to run up and down until dawn.)
I think I managed to get to Rasier once, many years ago. During the Daytime. It'd be nice to actually be able to enter Rasier. Not gonna happen, by the looks of it.
