I recently grabbed DosBox and I cant type in it. The mouse works fine. But when I go to type like my characters name, nothing comes out. Yeah, I made sure the text box was selected. Any ideas whats wrong?

Well lets see.... I remember this bug when I first got DosBox - when I toggled the num lock on the keyboard or something like that - afterwards it wouldn't accept my typing... not sure if it's related to your problem though.

It might have been. I managed to fix it though. I had a game controller plugged in and I noticed when I loaded up DosBox it mentioned the "Joystick" so I unplugged and reloaded the game and it worked fine.

I've noticed it happens when I switch to full-screen mode (Alt+Enter). Sometimes the keyboard doesn't work, and sometimes the mouse doesn't work. I can see it, but can't click on anything. Usually switching back to the default size, and then clicking the mouse within the Dosbox window fixes it. Happens every now and again with my old flight simulators.
