Arthas picked himself up from the stone pathway that he lay sprawled across.
"What could have gone wrong?" he asked to no one in particular, "I was almost certain I had prepared the spell correctly..."
He winced as he tried to stand, a sharp biting pain flared in his right leg, just above the knee. He rolled up his pant leg to view how badly the fall had hurt him. Sure enough, the leg held a large, blueish welt above the knee. Arthas tentrolled the pant leg back down and hobbled around the stone courtyard until a large "Apothecary" sign caught his attention.
Arthas pushed through the beaded doorway, and a myraid of smells assailed him- lavender, incense, some sort of citrus, and the smell of a more dubious substance that came from a large hookah settled in the center of the room.
A cheery, if not totally clean, long haired man greeted Arthas with a wave of his hand.
"Oh hey man, what brings you to my shop?" The man said.
"I hurt my leg in a rather bad fall..." Arthas said sheepishly, hoping the man was not a fellow Magic-User, as if he was the man would no doubt hold it against Arthas for messing up a spell.
Arthas rolled up his pant leg to show the shop owner
"Hey man, that's a pretty nasty looking bump, but I may have something to help you out," The man stood and opened a large chest that sat against the wall behind him, fishing around in it until he pulled out a small green jar, handing it to Arthas.
"Just rub that on that bump once a day until it's better, ok man? Be sure to only use it once a day man, 'cause to much of that stuff could start attracting banana slugs," The shopkeeper said as he sat back down on his fluffy-pillow seat near the hookah, "You can pay me once your knee gets better. The name's Salim by the way."
"Nice to meet you Salim, I'm Arthas," Arthas shook hands with the store owner," and thanks for this ointment."
"Oh hey man, it's no problem really, and it's good karma," Salim pondered the thought for a moment while Arthas hobbled back to the exit. Arthas said goodbye, but Salim was lighting the hookah and was only able to offer a small hand gesture in return. Arthas grinned and left the small Apothecary's shop to find a way to make some money to pay Salim.
