ok so i am new here and i am a HUGE QFG fan, i am wondering how to get QFG1 running on my 32 bit windows Vista, i know how to run it via dosbox but there is no sound and well for me not having sound isnt good.

any help would be good thanks.

kick butt man thanks for that link definately going to get some of those games

EDIT: i get this error when trying to run the game without dosbox saying it wont run in fullscreen mode but even if i try to run it in a windowed screen it doesnt work and there is still no sound comming from the game

You have to run these games in DOSBox. Vista has issues with full screen DOS applications and you cannot run most DOS applications in a window. DOSBox allows you to run them full screen and windowed. It also addresses problems with the audio. If you don't have DOSBox installed in %ProgramFiles%\DOSBox folder, allow the installer to download and install it for you.

ok so installed dosbox into c:programfiles\DOSBox-0.73 etc.... put the games in there under oldgames\hero and yet no sound is comming out still

that was what dosbox installed as ill rename it to just dosbox though and give that a try
