There are probably a bunch of threads that help with this, but i don't have the patience to go searching. So, I used to w atch my mom play this all the time, but when i was old enough to start playing it by myself, we had moved several times and lost it. When we updated our computer to vista, we actually found it after moving about 6 times XD it would work just fine until you got to the end of the first one (i have the anthology btw) where it just wouldn't let you continue. now i've just got a new computer with vista, but now it won't work period. any ideas on how to get it to work?
please, keep in mind that i am a complete computer n00b, so i need very simple instructions XD |

Are you playing the VGA version (remake)? If it's not letting you end the game at the Baron's throne room, that's a bug that's always been present in the VGA version. You pretty much have to turn detail and sound all the way down and speed all the way up and wait for Yorrick to cartwheel by; saving and loading the game sometimes helps spark this too.
The best way to play all the old games these days is by applying the New Rising Sun patches and playing the games in DOSBox (which simulates a DOS platform circa the mid-90s). Information on both can be found here: http://www.questformoreglory.com/forums/in...n%20xp&st=0 Oh yeah, I almost forgot, welcome to our humble corner of the internet. Oh yeah, Collector made some great installers as well that will more easily get you set up with those patches and DOSBox. Here's the thread for the Anthology version http://www.questformoreglory.com/forums/in...?showtopic=2645 and the Collection version http://www.questformoreglory.com/forums/in...?showtopic=2643
